Standing in front of the installed wall panels in the clean area, my fingertips gliding over the spotless surface, I suddenly realized how many clumsy footprints are hidden in this clean workshop. In the early winter of 2024, when I pushed open the door of Linuo Pharmaceutical as a newcomer in the workplace, I never expected that this journey of growth would begin in such a passionate way.
The first lesson in the cold winter
The memory freezes on a night in January. The cold wind at minus five degrees carries the scent of dust, and my colleagues and I cover the incoming equipment with dust cloths to prevent contamination. We wrap the equipment with cling film, layer by layer, like pages of memories floating before my eyes. Mr. Du once said: "The clean area is the battlefield for pharmaceutical workers, and we must use sincerity to perform 'CPR' on the equipment." As the moonlight climbs up the Nth fold of the military coat, and my frozen fingers pick up the fallen screws for the 27th time, I suddenly understand the stubbornness inherent in pharmaceutical workers—those seemingly tedious repetitions are, in fact, the scales that guard life.
Finding answers in challenges
The project’s critical period coincided with a cold wave. In the surveillance video at dawn, there is always a figure wrapped in a military coat shuttling between the quality inspection R&D building and the workshop. To track the progress of on-site construction, ensure timely progress, and ensure on-site quality and safety, everyone flits between various floors like migratory birds chasing warmth. On one occasion, due to floor laying, equipment arrival, and accelerated engineering, the leaders took us with brooms to clean the construction site. When the morning light penetrated the condensation, and the messy floor turned clean and tidy, I suddenly understood: in the pharmaceutical industry, behind every small variable, stand countless lives waiting for rescue.
Growth is a two-way journey
During the installation of freeze-drying equipment a year ago, in the winter at minus six or seven degrees, everyone was unafraid of the cold, working together to remove the outer packaging of the freeze-drying equipment. At that moment, I witnessed the power of unity and teamwork, as the saying goes, "Only with joint effort can gold be broken." And I, from that graduate holding a rag and feeling lost, gradually became able to independently conduct on-site inspections and draft documents under the guidance of the team leader and colleagues. The slogan "Guarding the Light of Health" is being posted on the outer wall of the newly completed R&D center, and sunlight penetrates the scaffolding, casting mottled shadows on the hard hats—this is indeed a mark of our shared growth.
Now standing in front of the workshop production line, I suddenly recall what the general manager said during the onboarding training: "The 'Nuo' in Linuo means promise." In this world woven with data and responsibility, I am writing a pledge about quality together with this young yet steady enterprise. Perhaps the true essence of growth is to let the rings of an individual’s life nourish each other with the rings of the enterprise in the cold winter, so that when spring arrives, those shared struggles through wind and snow will eventually turn into lush greenery that guards life.
