It’s not just the server room—it’s the “data heart” of the factory.

As soon as you step into the computing power center, the first thing that catches your eye isn't the roaring machinery—it's the large CNC display screen covering an entire wall. On the screen, device operating statuses, environmental parameters, quality indicators, and energy consumption data are flashing in real time... It’s as if the “vital signs” of the entire factory are laid out right before your eyes.

“This isn’t just a place for data storage and computation—it’s the decision-making brain of the entire Digital Intelligence Factory No. 1,” explained a staff member. “We collect massive amounts of data from various links—including the production line, laboratories, and warehousing and logistics—and after cleaning, integrating, and modeling this data, we ultimately develop an intelligent decision-support system that can optimize production.”

Interconnect multiple regions to build a “distributed computing power network.”

This computing power center does not exist in isolation. Centered on Jinan, it has established a distributed computing network that connects to Beijing, Shanghe, Yinan, Hainan, and other regions, enabling off-site data backups and collaborative computing. This means that even if one node experiences an anomaly, the system can still operate stably, ensuring uninterrupted production and preventing data loss.

“What we’re building is a secure, efficient, and scalable computing platform specifically tailored for the pharmaceutical industry,” the technician added. “In the future, we’ll also integrate more external data sources—including data from R&D partners, market feedback, and supply-chain dynamics—to truly achieve data-driven operations across the entire value chain, from R&D all the way to sales.”

Digital Twin: “Rehearsing” Reality in the Virtual World

One of the most remarkable applications of computing power centers is the digital twin system. By leveraging high-precision modeling and real-time data mapping, the system constructs a “digital factory” in the virtual world that perfectly mirrors the physical factory.

“We can simulate equipment operation, optimize process parameters, predict failure risks, and even conduct ‘virtual pilot production’ within the digital twin system,” the engineer explained. “This significantly reduces both the cost and time required for debugging in actual production, making our production lines smarter and more agile.”
