Against the backdrop of artificial intelligence (AI) technology reshaping industrial competitiveness, Linyi Pharmaceutical has resolutely sounded the horn of deep AI empowerment. On April 24, the company held a special meeting on the application of AI tools, clearly requiring all departments to comprehensively promote the deep application of AI tools in the entire process of research and development, production, and operation, in order to build a new competitive advantage through technological empowerment. Group Vice President Liu Xingcun, Linyi Pharmaceutical President Huang Fangsheng, Lean Digital Vice President Liu Peng, and heads of various first-level departments gathered together to discuss the practical path and future planning of AI tool empowerment for enterprise development.
At the beginning of the meeting, the heads of various first-level departments reported on the application status, implementation measures, and future plans of AI tools, covering multiple business segments including research and development, production, quality, and the supply chain. Each department, based on its own business, demonstrated the application potential and interim achievements of AI tools in different scenarios.
The meeting fully affirmed the positive attitude of various departments in exploring AI applications, while pointing out that the application of AI technology must be based on a solid foundation of business processes. The company requires all departments to complete a comprehensive review and optimization of business processes before deploying AI tools, ensuring that technology applications are targeted and ultimately truly achieving the value empowerment of AI technology in various business areas.
The meeting emphasized that AI is a tool to improve efficiency, not an omnipotent "myth," and that blind following trends should be avoided, insisting on starting from actual business needs. To this end, President Huang Fangsheng proposed a clear four-step AI implementation strategy: first, streamline processes; second, achieve standardization and online operations; third, data-driven; and finally, introduce AI technology empowerment. This gradual approach ensures both the effectiveness of technology implementation and control of implementation risks.
The convening of this meeting has pointed the way for the next steps in AI application.
